BiteGuard ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Android application BiteGuard (the "App").

BiteGuard does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information to external servers. All data generated by the App (such as streaks, usage logs, and settings) is stored locally on your device only.

2. Permissions We Use

The App uses the following Android permissions to provide its core functionality:

• Accessibility Service: Used to detect and block food delivery apps (Zomato, Swiggy) on your device. This data is processed locally and never transmitted.
• Notification Listener: Used to monitor and suppress notifications from food delivery apps. No notification content is stored or shared.
• Internet Access: Used solely to process payments via Razorpay when a fine is triggered. No personal usage data is sent over the internet.

3. Payment Information

Payments are processed through Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment details (card numbers, UPI IDs, bank details, etc.). Please refer to Razorpay's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your payment data.

4. Data Storage

All app data including streaks, heatmap data, and usage statistics are stored locally on your device using Android's Room database. This data is never uploaded to any server or shared with third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Razorpay for payment processing. No other third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools are used in the App.

6. Children's Privacy

BiteGuard is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
